Colleen Gee is the Principal of Avatar Bookkeeping, the purpose of which is to make life easier for small business owners, assisting them to reduce their stress and worry and take back their valuable time.

Colleen has had over 12 years of experience working in the finance and data entry fields, specifically in the areas of bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, stock control, reconciliation and balancing.

Learning is something that Colleen loves and she is regularly upgrading training, knowledge and skills. Networking with other Bookkeepers, being a member of professional organizations and in receipt of regular ATO information, means that Colleen has access to the most up to date information and can provide services according to the latest professional guidelines and ATO recommendations.

Living ethically and with great integrity is held in high regard by Colleen, and is at the core of both her personal and business philosophy.  It is with this in mind that a Code of Conduct has been developed for Avatar Bookkeeping.

Colleen is committed to developing co-operative relationships with clients, helping them to be more relaxed and able to focus on their core business.

Avatar Bookkeeping's Logo was selected as it is a representation of a rock abacus providing the link to calculating and number use. 

There are a number of meanings for term “Avatar”.  I chose this name because of the following aspects of its meanings:
·        a term used in computer mediated environments to mean a ‘virtual person’
·        a new personification of a familiar idea; “the embodiment of hope”
·        a physical manifestation of God – therefore Jesus was an avatar.
